The first Stage (Unit) is The Call and Answering the Call. It includes an opportunity to get acquainted and bond with classmates/participants and to learn about some journeys to adulthood from a historical perspective.

Students participate in the first of the "Challenge" activities, in which they experience the concept of groups of people with rules that may seem arbitrary, and find out what happens when a group member breaks those rules.
